  This deactivated MKII Sten was built at Long Branch in 1942 as marked on the top of the housing.  This example is painted in black enamel with a Parkerized barrel.  This piece shows a modified mag that is removable.  The housing cannot take or hold an unmodified mag. This deactivation was approved as above.  A piece for the WW2 or Canadian collector.  Deactivated status.
