- Description:
We are pleased to offer a deactivated AK 47 from the Vietnam War. This piece was built in China and was carried by North Vietnamese or Viet Cong. The left side of the receiver shows the triangle 66 Chinese markings. This piece was a battlefield pick by a US serviceman. The metal and wood show obvious exposure to jungle warfare. The wood especially shows this items's very hard usage. A commercial AK is not a scarce item, but a battlefield AK pickup is very scarce, if not very rare. This piece is totally deactivated. It is missing it's bayonet. The sling is a remant of a US carbine sling. A unique and rare item for the serious military weapons or militaria collection.
