SN 80182 is a custom rifle built on a 1885 receiver built in 1898. The rifle shows a 28" 1/2 & 1/2 barel in 38 special with bright excellent plus bore. The barrel is mounted on a Winchester Model 1885 action, sn# 80182, pat Oct 7 79 on the bottom tang. The butt stock is a European style of Schuetzen with appropriate butt plate. The front and rear sights are modern target sights. We have no information as to who assembled this target rifle. An interesting rifle for the target shooter.
