An excellent example of an unknown English maker percussion rifle lock. This unit started as an Enfield percussion rifle lock. These parts were obviously reworked by a serious gunsmith and converted to a percussion sporting rifle. Excellent engraving on the modified plate and hammer. Crisp clean action.
