  Antique commercial .577 caliber Snider, built 1870.  This piece shows the commercial proofing and the 25 code.  The 32 1/2" barrel shows a bright ,excellent plus bore.  The commercial breech block shows the commercial Snider markings.  Mechanically sound, excellent wood and metal.  Commercial variations are scarcer than military Sniders on the Canadian market.  Overall very good plus condition.  Note:  No rod or rod retainer.  Antique
