  This stock is a modern made copy of the Colt Skeleton stock that was available for the Buntline Special single action.  This modern stock was built using bronze or brass and plated.  The original stocks were advertised for sale by Colt but were not necessarily built by the Colt company.  This example is a well made modern copy.  A neat item for display with a Buntline.
