  SN 47939, is a first issue Colt Police Positive with the scarcer 2 1/2" barrel.  Caliber is 32 New Police built first year of production 1907.  This example shows a bright excellent bore, scarce excellent grips.  Unfortunately, this Colt was totally refinished but is mechanically sound.  Prohib Status
