  Civil War Gallager carbine converted to 12 gauge shotgun,originally built as a single shot carbine as a secondary Civil War weapon.  Patten dated 1860, SN 19319, this piece was converted to a 12 gauge shotgun post Civil War by Bannerman's,NY and offered in their 1889 catalog. With sound working action, the firing pin is present but needs to be refitted.  The 12 gauge barrel is 32". Because of the 12 guage conversion this item is non restricted. The action alone would be antique.  A great curio or parts piece.
