Canadian WW1 Issue 1907 Bayonet
Excellent example of a British 1907 bayonet built by Wilkinson dated 1918. This bayonet was issued to Canadian troops with the Lee Enfield No 1 MK III* rifles following the withdrawl of the Ross rifle from service. Excellent blade showing the British proofs and broad arrow markings (metal and grips). The pommel shows the Canadian C broad arrow property mark . The scabbard shows the H Carson Co Ltd makers marking and the C broad arrow mark. The 1918 date is on the base of the blade. Canadian issue WW1 and probably early WW2 as well. An excellent example.
