• Description:

  An excellent example of a Pattern 88 Metford/Enfield bayonet.  This piece is dated 9/96 which corresponds to the major shipment of Long Lees to Canada.  Bright excellent blade with sharp clear markings.  The  wood shows clear sharp inspector marks.  Built by Sanderson.  The scabbard shows excellent leather clear proofs and the 96 Date.  The cross guard is marked CSM 83 which probably indicate issue to the 83rd Battalion of infantry HQ.,  Joliette Quebec.
