• Description:

  SN 7809 is a Long Lee dated 1896 built by London Small Arms.  This example shows the butt tang marked G.G.F.G. ( Govenor General Foot Guards) #116.  This example shows some light corrosion associated with corrosive cartridges and strong rifling.  The bolt and sight are matching the receiver.  The finish is original showing a blue, grey mix.  The wood is sound showing normal usage and issue marks.  A nice example for the Enfield or Canadian collector.
