• Description:

  Enfield built bayonet for the 1853 percussion rifle.  This example shows a bright excellent 17" blade showing Enfield proof.  The bayonet rides in a scabbard which is marked to the Q.O.R. (Queens Own Rifles, Toronto).  The leather shows issue No 195 over a scratched marked re-issue 315.  The leather remains in excellent condition with sound stitching.  A nice example of a Canadian unit marked bayonet.  Note: The scabbard also shows a scratch marked H.C. initial.
