    SN 924219 is a Smith & Wesson 38/200 Canadian marked revolver.  This is one of approx 8200 S&W 30/200 or victory models that were supplied to the Canadian military under an order dating the May of 1942.  This example shows the 5" barrel.  Bright excellent military sandblast brushed blue finish'bright case color hammer, trigger and lanyard ring.  The smooth correct grips rate excellent.  This revovler shows little evidence of actual usage and therefore rates at 98% plus overall.  The condition is not common to this service model which suggests issue to an officer.   The piece remaining in all matching .  Excellent plus codntiion.  The Canadian C broad arrow marks in on the left rear corner of the frame with this revolver is an excellent military flap holster buit for a 5" revolver.  The reverse shows a unique attachment strap specifically built for the Sam Brown belt (This is the only holster that we have found with this feture)  The belt is the typical Sam Brown unit with original cross strap.  Brass fitting and quality leather manufacture.  neither the holster or belt show any makers or retailers markings.  This Canadian issue Revolver rig is unique as to condition and Quality.  Unfortunately we have no background information.  Reference standard cat of Smith & Wesson supica and Nahas 38/200 revolvers and Canadian Military Handguns 1855-1985 by Clive Law.
