• Description:

  SN DA917 is a post war 22 caliber Trainer built by BSA (M47c) in 1952.  This was a relatively scarce Lee Enfield variation.  This example is one of a relatively small group built by BSA for New Zealand (reference Skinnerton pages 298-299).  This example shows a bright excellent bore, all original finish, showing the NZ broad arrow and 173 NZ issue number.  The exact number of rifles shipped to New Zealand is unknown.  A less than common addition to any Lee Enfield collection.  Non restricted.
