• Description:

  This British Snider MK II ** musket is chambered in 577 caliber.  Musket was built by the London Armory and is lock dated 1862...marked "L.A.Co"  This piece shows a bright very good to excellent bore with sound rifling.  The metal shows an overall blued barrel fading to brown patina.  All inspectors stamps and markings are clear and crisp.  The rear sight is missing the ladder slide and stop.  The wood remains in very good to excellent condition being a dark English walnut with an excellent, crisp London Armory 1861 dated roundel.  This piece complete with its original rammer.  A very good example for the British military or Snider collector.
