British/ Canadian Officer's Sword

• Description:

  An excellent example of a British officer's sword.  The blade is 32 1/2" showing the George V cypher 1910-36.  Excellent blade with no tarnish.  No maker mark only proved at the base.  Excellent fish skin grip with sound wine.  Checkered backpiece.  This piece shows an overall excellent finish.  The sword rides in it's original leather scabbard.  This scabbard shows an old repair at the bottom.  The scabbard is mounted with a leather belt hanger marked J.R. Gaunt  Montreal.
