• Description:

  This is a used Brazilian Mauser Model 1908 bolt action rifle chambered in 7mm Mauser.  Barrel is 29 1/4" with a good strongly rifled bore with dark and pitted grooves.  Metal surfaces are blued with the receiver in the white.  The barrel retains about 90% finish with light oxidation and some pinpricks of pitting.  The receiver retains a crisp and strong crest.   Rifle has matching serial numbers throughout...with the exception of the bolt (7763)  The stock and handguard have a few light dings and shallow dents, but retains a strong/crisp cartouche on the right side of the butt.   There are additional inspectors marks on the bottom of the butt below the sling swivel stud and serial number.  Stock has a light added varnish.
