• Description:

  SN 22044 is a Model 954 rifle in 30-06 caliber.  This model was the last Mauser built and used by Brazil.  This model was built with a threaded muzzle for use with a grenande launcher.  This example shows a dark but very shootable bore.  The original bolt shows a modification probably intended to accomodate a scope (that was never mounted on this rifle). It also shows an extended safety lever probably for the same reason.  Overall this is a sound example with both metal and wood in an ideal shooting caliber 30-06.
