Australian WW2 Bayonet

• Description:

  Australian bayonet dated 8/43 SN D98281, very good plus Parkerized blade, excellent wood grip panels showing an obliterated marking on the right panel.  This piece rides in an interesting scabbard that appears to be a Pattern 14 WW1 unit.  Reverse shows a W ( Winchester mark).  The top of the scabbard throat shows a DD broad arrow 3 mark ( Defence Dept 3 military dist).  Overall very good condition to excellent, a great bayonet to mount a 1943 dated Australian Lee Enfield.
