• Description:

  Late New Land British military pistol.  This piece shows the 9" barrel, caliber 69 and crown GR proofs.  The lock appears to be from an earlier New Land with the external hammer safety slot filled in and the GR markings.  This example shows a sound lock and waterproof pan.  The wood is sound but shows an old cleaning which removed the inspector marks.  A deeply struck KGW is stamped on the left stock flat.  This pistol could be improved with some TLC.
