  NSN is a BSA 1872 dated Snider rifle.  This example had the forestock cut back years ago.  The barrel shows the correct 30" length with a bright very good plus bore and sound rifling.  The bayonet stud was removed.  This piece shows all the correct steel fittings and the butt shows the Enfield roundel.   A piece for restoration.  Antique status
