• Description:

  An antique flint Eastern pistol circa 1850's.  This example shows a 15" barrel and overall length of 24".  The lock, cock and barrel are overlaid with silver and shows the obvious age of the item.  The lock works sporatically and is best to keep in it's as found position.  The stock is totally inlaid in silver wire with the majority of the silver remaining in place.  Inbedded is the silver are several natural pearl inlays.  The barrel shows heavy silver inlays and a 3 1/2" silver cap over the breach section of the barrel.  The rod is a modern replacement.  This Eastern pistol is a better than average silver decorated arm that was probably built and owned by a wealthy citizen of the country of origin.
