  SN 1700 is a Colt New Line 41 caliber rim fire.  This antique Colt was built in 1875 with a total production of 41 caliber pistols approximately 7000.  This example shows a 2 1/4" barrel with a slightly corroded bore with sound rifling.  The flaking nickel finish rates at approximately 75% .  The hammer shows blue on the spine. The cylinder pin was broken even with the frame.  A good machinest could build a replacement.  Sound tight action, all matching revolver with original grips.
