Antique Snider 3 band rifle showing an excellent dated 1864 lock and excellent finish on barrel and breach, marked 2 star and bright excellent bore (no ramrod). The wood shows an Enfield #1 mark on the right side of the butt and a Canadian DC diamond on the left. The butt tang is marked "51/319" which would indicate issue to the 51st battalion of infantry Hemmingford Quebec
