  SN 683 is an antique 6MM rimfire pistol sold by an English Gun Company London.  This company was in business from 1842 to 1873 when it ceased operating.  This pistol was built in Europe and sold in the London shop.  This pistol was probably used as an indoor close range target pistol.  Smooth bore, Floberg style of action with continental type of fixtures and stock.  This pistol would have been sold by the Company during the last few years of operation.  An interesting antique pistol.  Antique  is not subject to permit to purchase or own.
