NSN is a 9 inch English built Pepperbox. This example shows a 6 shot, 4" barrel cluster in 41 caliber. The barrel unit shows 97% original blue and bright excellent bores. The receiver shows fine hand schrolled engraving with an empty plate for a retailers name on the left side. This pistol was probably built by one of the Pepperbox builders for a retailer. The base of the butt shows a percussion cap trap with an engraved cover. The protected areas show original case color. The grip shows excellent fine checkering and an empty name plate in German silver. An excellent mid size Pepperbox in above average condition that has seen little if any actual usage.
