  Colt 1861 Navy 36 caliber SN 1759.  The 1861 is rather scarce compared to other percussion Colts with only 38,843 built.  This example was built in the 1st year of production 1861. All matching serial numbers.  The finish on this Colt tells the story of extended use of this revolver.  The muzzle shows obvious holster wear and partial barrel address.  The parts are all original but show little if any finish.  There are slight trace of the cylinder scene.  The action functions flawlessly.  The bore is bright and rates very good with sound rifling.  The grips show some loss but are original  A sound, no finish Colt 1861 Navy that was a working gun.
