1. All original 24 1/2 "Model 1866 Winchester barrel. This example shows a very scarce,if not rare,bright excellent bore with clear sharp rifling and no trace of pitting. The exterior shows clear Winchester markings on the top flat. The bottom base shows the 2.3 markings. See pages 37-38 of Volume 1, " Winchester Lever Action Repeating Firearms" by Arthur Pirkle (North Cape Publications Inc.). Overall this example shows approximately 40 - 50% original factory blue turning brown. A very scarce barrel on the current market. A great piece for the 1866 rifle restoration project. - $995.002.We have a second 1866 barrel with the identical barrel address & 24 1/2 " length. The exterior shows remnants of the original blue. The bore is basically shot out with trace of the original rifling. This piece would be a candiadate for a 44 caliber sleeve. This is still a scarce & hard to find original barrel showing the 2.3 marking. - $495.00
