  This item is from the WW2 era.  Information on these can be found on the net.  Built in NY by the Revolver Cartridge Clip Corp.New York.  This piece remains in its "as found" condition and is loaded with 5 rounds of 38 special tracer, REM UMC.  These were apparently used by a number of U.S. service men including pilots/officers etc.  Not a common item in Canada.
