Scarce Dean Adams Revolving Rifle Case

  We are pleased to offer a very scarce original oak case built for the Adams Model 1851 self cocking revolving rifle.  The rifles were produced circa 1855 by Dean Adams and Dean,30 King William Street, London.  The case is all oak construction 41" by 6 3/4".  The case shows its original green baize liner and its original Dean Adams & Dean label.  The top shows a typical age repaired crack. A very uncommon English case to find for sale in any market.  Note: there is no key and the key cover plate is missing.  The brass locking bars were cut at some point in time.
