  SN 4342 is a Spandau built Mauser 71/84 rifle in 11 mm (43 Mauser).  This example shows a bright very good plus to excellent bore.  This rifle shows all but 1 or 2 minor parts matching.  The feed mechanism works perfectly.  The barrels shows faded original blue with clear stampings and 1887 dated receiver . There is no pitting other than the buttplate which also shows a unit marking 11 R.15.233. The wood is sound showing trace inspector marks.  A rifle for the collector or shooter.
