• Description:

  SN 94L3760 shows a 1950 dated barrel installed on a 1945 dated action.  The serial number as found on the bolt is from the 1950 production 945L.  There are no other serial numbers on this rifle only the proof and 50 date on the barrel.  The socket shows the original serial number removed and not renumbered.  This example shows no evidence of any usage on the ramp or the face of the bolt.  The rifle remains in unissued new condition from the mint bore to metal and wood.  A collector grade 1950 assembled Long Branch rifle.
