• Description:

  SN8538 is an all matching Royal Irish Constabulary (RIC) carbine.  This example was converted from a 1896 Lee Enfield MK1 carbine, as per the left side of the socket.  This example shows 95% plus blue and a bright excellent plus bore.  The stock shows normal issue and usage marks but rates very good plus.  The stock disk shows the R.I.C. mark issue # 4271 and the G/1904 date.  The issue leather sling shows a makers name and a 1940 date. An above average example of an RIC carbine.
