• Description:

  SN Q6380 is an exceptional example of a Lee Enfield No 5 MK 1 rifle in unissued as new condition.  This jungle carbine shows a mint bore, no trace of primer rebound on the bolt face,  no marks on the magazine follower.  The metal show 100% original Fazakerley finish on the barrel, receiver and mag.  The bolt is matching and remains in as new condition.  The rifle is dated 8/45 (The last month of WW2).  The wood remains in the aforesaid condition with a few minor marks related to storage.  This jungle carbine was obviously built at the very end of WW2, placed in war reserves until it was sold as surplus.
