  SN AX3412 is a British built WW2 Lee Enfield No 4 MK 1 303 caliber rifle. With matching serial numbers on the receiver and bolt, this WW2 rifle appears to have been arsenal refurbished in the late or post war era.  This rifle may have been placed in war reserves.  This example shows a bright excellent plus bore, a No 1 bolt head and the appearance of a British Military referb.  The wood remains in excellent condition and shows a Fazakerley 49 mark.  The socket shows serial stamping over a 1943 date with a post war AX prefix serial number.  A collector grade example in excellent condition.
