• Description:

  Lee Enfield carbine bucket for cavalry and dragoons.  This leather bucket is 32" long and was built for the Lee Enfield MK1 303 carbine.  The leather is sound as is the stitching.  This example shows both British and Canadian markings .  The inside top is marked and dated 10/1/24 and shows the C broad arrow mark. The top strap is maker marked and dated 1918.  The support tongue is marked-S 2 D (The first marking can't be identified). The balance appears to be squadron, second dragoons.  A nice example of a Canadian marked carbine bucket.
