  • Description:

This is an antique Harrington & Richardson DA The American 2nd Model revolver chambered in the rather scarce 44 Webley.   Octagon barrel is 6" with a good plus fairly bright bore with strong rifling and fine to light pitting throughout.  Metal surfaces are nickel finished and retain about 90% coverage with some polishing over areas of fine pitting.  The grips are original hard rubber.  Revolver functions mechanically very well but is missing the loading gate.  This revolver rides in a Western style flap holster with rawhide edging.  The holster is marked "IVER JOHNSON" with "No 306XL" on the belt loop.  The front flap and face of the holster shows an armed cowboy or vaquero on horseback and very decorative motif expertly done.  The lower body of the holster shows  over lapped "AA's" which may represent a previous owners initials or perhaps the ranch he worked.  A Western related antique revolver that rides in an obvious Western style holster
