  SN5504966 is an excellent plus example of a Harrington & Richardson U.S. M1 Garand rifle, built and dated 8-1954.  This exceptional example of a U.S. M1 shows all of its original factory Parkerized finish.  All components parts are H&R.  The wood remains in "as new" condition and shows no defence acceptance stamp indicating that  this rifle is one as supplied to a foreign power.  The bore rates as bright excellent plus in 30-06 caliber.  As Canfield stated in "Complete Guide to the M1 Grand" unaltered H&R rifles are difficault to find (Page 155).  An exceptional example of a U.S. M1 Garand in collector grade condition.  Non restricted status.
