Early Colt brass mould. Built without spur cutters. The moulds were standard up to 1860, when the iron variation became the standard. See an example in a 49 pocket built in the US for sale in England Sutherland /Wilso "The Book of Colt Fireamrs" page 1123 (see also page 115 accessories). An excellent example with Colt stamping and a "H" on the top face. Overall very good to excellent with clear clean cavities.
