• Description:

  SN A396 is an early production model 1912 rifle built by Steyr of Austria.  The bore rates as excellent.  The barrel was cut back to 22 1/2", all parts appear to be matching showing 96.  The receiver ring shows the remnants of the Chilean national crest.  The rifle was restocked using a German K98K WW2 era stock.  This item could be a very good bush rifle or camp gun showing a 13" lop.
