• Description:

  SN 7040 is an exceptional example of a Colt "old Model" New Service revolver.  Built in 1902,this New Service shows the high polish blue, bright heat blued screws and trigger and final firing pin case colored hammer.  The barrel is marked New Service 455 Eley.  The gun was probably shipped directly to Canada and remained here.  (No English proofs). Close examination shows no evidence of usage.  The finish rates at 98% plus with a small blemish below "New Service" on the left side and a small blemish below the sight on the right.  This Colt comes with its' original holster that remains in the same condition as the revolver.  Excellent leather and stiching marked 5 1/2 and NS(New Service) on the back strap.  An exceptional example of an early New Service with the most minor storage blemish..
