SN EAL 4675 is one of the several thousand EAL's built by Essential Agencies Limited (Canadian Arsenals) in the 1950's. These rifles were built at Longbranch from No 4 MK1parts. This example shows the parts marked with the CA marks. The Knox form shows the large CA mark and a CMK4 marking. The 21 " barrel shows a corroded 303 caliber bore,the result of failure to clean after shooting corrosive ammo. The rifling appears to be sound and shootable. The rifle shows the DC proofs and is mounted with the correct Jostam pad and a C broad arrow Canadian sling. A sound example of a Canadian E.A.L. rifle.
