• Description:

  British Officers Fusil.  This Londo built piece shows a 42" barrel, a non marked lock.  This example shows a Grise side plate and an escution with an elegible initial.  This scarce musket was rebuit at some point and sold to the prior owner.  This piece shows a repair or extension to the barrel approximately 10 1/2" down from the muzzle.  In addition the forewood shows a splice at the bottom ram rod pipe. This piece is  a sample of an officer's fusil. This piece may be improved with some TLC or with parts from a similar fusil.
