  Lee Enfield No 1 MK III* built 1941 at Ishapore (British Military Arsenal).  This example is all matching serial numbers, barrel, frame, sight, nose cap and wood.  The frame number is overstamped with England (Country of Origin For Export).  The serial remains visable.  The barrel rates as bright, excellent plus.  The wood rates as very good showing normal service use.  Note: Ishapore produced the same quality of work as the English arsenals under British Rule.  A nice Lee Enfield variation.
