  Beaver Mounted Montreal Police Badge # 6, enameled letters, original pin. Built and marked Scully Montreal. We realize that the Montreal Police badges were plated. We consulted Mr. Gary Owens who is an advanced collector and considered an authority  on police badges. He examined the piece and advised that the badge was correct in all respects but was never plated. Some of these badges were sent for scrap after model changes. Obviously a few of the same survived the scrapping.
