• Description:

  SN 403013 is a WW1 bring back Webley MK VI revolver.  With bright, excellent bore, caliber 455 , built 1918 and all matching numbers, this piece rides in a 1917 dated holster that was adapted for machine gun crews.  See "Canadian Military Handguns" page 99.  The holster is marked J.W.&S Ltd.  1917.  The holster shows its obvious usage and modification where the rod pouch was moved from the front face to the back.  The original rod remains in place.  The revolver shows overall even blue brown finish and evidence of its usage and continued holster storage.  Clear markings with very good to excellent finish with slight corrosion on the right barrel flat adjoining the muzzle .  A mechancailly sound example from WW1.
