  SN34146 is a vintage Winchester Model 62,  22 S,L & LR pre WW2 rifle built in 1936.  This model was built from 1932 to 1958.  This pre war rifle shows the small forearm.  The 62 was replaced by the 62A in 1940.  There were less than 100,000 pre war rifles built which are far scarcer than the MD 62A rifles.  This rifle shows a bright excellent bore, 90% plus bore on barrel and tube,faded/plumb finish on the receiver and tangs.  Excellent wood showing normal usage.
