• Description:

  English Wilkinson built bayonet Pattern 1887 MKIII.  This example is dated 1889, very good plus blade with clear makers marks and government wd & inspector markings.  This example shows a Martini No 7215 on the pommel.  The bayonet comes in a 1900 dated correct brass mounted scabbard.  The scabbard rides in an excellent buff leather frog with brass buckle and is ink and stamp marked on the reverse 3 BR 504 broad arrow 5 over 545.  The bottom is press stamped R.C.MN. 545 .  An excellent unit for the Martini or British military bayonet collector.
