• Description:

  SN 158841 is one of the British military purchased and marked revolvers with  the scarcer 6" barrel.  This example shows all matching numbers, 1915 date on the frame and proofs.  The order in May 1915 was for 6" barrels for "Land Service only". This piece shows 85% original finish and original grips.  Note, there is a small bulge in the barrel approximately 1 1/2" from the muzzle.  We have test fired this revolver and can report that it works very well and holds a grouping. This item can be sold as deactivated at the same price.
