  SN246509 is a Krag Model 1898 built at Springfield .  This rifle shows a bright, very good 30-40 caliber bore.  The receiver shows a nice mottled case color.  The barrel shows 90+% original blue.  The wood is very sound showing an old refinish.  This rifle shows a better than average appearance and will nicely fit in a U.S. or military rifle collection.
